Sharp Wing Chun

Wing Chun is not aggressive, practical yes, aggressive no. It is the same as a sharp knife, if you don’t treat it properly you can hurt yourself and others, but if you know how to use it correctly then you can get the job done more easily.

Wing Chun is Practical

I know someone who is really nervous of sharp knives. In her kitchen all her knives are blunt and all of them are very small. When I see her preparing food with those small blunt knives it makes me nervous as she has to chop and hack everything with a lot of force. What she does not realise is cutting things this way is more likely to cause injury than if she used a sharp knife. If she used a sharper knife then she would not have to chop everything with so much force and she would be less likely to slip and cut herself. If she learnt how to use a sharp knife then she could cut things more quickly, more evenly and with less strength
